I've forgotten my blog was a way to tell stories about my clothes, style, family/friends and me. Created as a communication tool for my iSLM tribe to connect with me on a different level. With my increase use of social media, I neglected to use my voice and instead became just another brown face wearing cute clothes on Instagram. As social media has evolved and with the help of InstaStories I'm able to show a bit more personality. For me social media is not intimate and only people who genuinely care about Keiona will come to www.iStyleLikeMe.com (formally istylelikeme.blogspot.com).
Make note: I'm not a writer (I can barely spell) I'm an Engineer, who has a hard time getting to the point. Simply because I live in details. It takes a while for an engineer to draw a conclusion, it's all a process. If you are a thinker or simply enjoy funny stories about life and clothes, then style with me.
My closet is bursting at the seams, literally, waiting to be seen and for it's stories to be told.
Oh and a few members of the tribe have politely expressed in the mall, in the airport, at events, in my DM's, in the comments under my pictures that they miss ME! I love being an inspiration to other, the blog is a little place my favorites can come and see how to be bold and live in the details of their garments.

***Not sure if this look or these photos were correct to use for my introductory post. I just loved the vibrant-ness of them and didn't even know if theses items had a story. Except these pants have been to Africa and has Giraffe saliva on them and scratches from Lions cubs. ( I washed them tho... I think). I ordered two pairs of these Nike Airmax sneakers. First, from Nike. Then realized I had a coupon for Finish Line. Cancelled the order with Nike. Ordered them from Finish Line only problem was at the time I couldn't remember or find my rewards number to use the coupon. Afraid they would sell out I ordered them regular price, they were now sold out on Nike. Nike never cancelled my order they came in the mail a day later. (Hence they are the once’s on my feet). Finish Line ones came while I was out of town. USPS didn’t leave them at my house and now I don't know where they are, somewhere stuck in the mail matrix or on someone’s feet. Because USPS can’t find them and they haven’t been returned to the store. $400 later, because technically I own two pairs of these beloved sneakers!! It’s been two months y’all think I can still report them lost to Finish Line???????
