It's very clear that people Style Like Me... I never really paid it much attention or cared. Everyone gets "inspiration" from somewhere or someone. It's life! I know I do. The difference is I tailor it for my life, my style... To still be true to who I am.
It's different when people take your ideas down to the font, color, vibe, caption, location, or their choice for a significant other. People have so much access to lives that aren't there's (because of social media) and if they are unhappy or confused about their own life they will try to incorporate someone else's seemly happy life into theirs.
At first I thought it was subconscious... If you see/do something over and over it becomes habit. If you are constantly on IG and people are constantly posting pictures of their happy relationship on your timeline and you are not in one, it's possible you might feel some type of way. People make things that wouldn't normally be relevant, look cool. So others want to do it. What people fail to realize is you can't imitate swag (for lack of a better word)/style/lifestyles you either have it or you don't ... You either look natural or forced. It's all about your confidence.
Y'all out here looking real forced. (In my Tiff Hawk voice)
So for this birthday I wanted to do something that was representative of where I was in my life at that moment. And the one thing I actually wanted to do was to hike/climb a bunch of rocks! Now if you see someone else celebrating their bday with rocks on top of a mountain
you know who inspired it. LOL!!
To the mountain top I go for my birthday photo shoot. Yes, I know people go to the mountain and take pictures all the time. But not many are hiking up with a ball skirt in their backpack just to post a picture saying "Happy Birthday"... Waaaaay Up I Feel Blesses!! IJS
