How my OOTD started. Just shorts and a tank! Simple! 

Chillin with my neice (@NaeemahB) about to get my hair in Marley Twist! Yo, she did my whole head in like 4 hours! She's a beast!

After receiving my twist and 15 mins to spruce myself up, I was back out the door and off to a Dinner and Ice Cream date with the girls! 

Dinner Outfit {Top/Bottom same as above, Trench Vest: H&M, Shoes: Christian Louboutin} 

I put on and took off this Trench Vest a million times, thinking it was to much. Thinking it was only dinner. Thinking I should be more casual and this vest was over the top. Finally, I was like "'eff it wear the damn vest". And Nae was outside beeping!! I'm glad I didn't mess up a look because of what "I think" a night may or may not bring. I tend to tone down and be very disappoint with the outcome. I love the drama the vest incorporated into the look! I can't wait to wear this vest again. *dancing* 💃🏽💃🏽

Primping and pumping!! The Girls storming through! You see that walk through? We bring it even when no one is watching! Werk ladies! See... I'm not the only one who uses the streets as my runway! *BOOM* the crew as a whole is very effective!

I will smoke you into a golden brown stylish nude goddess! That's been my goal lately, loving these nudes and golden tones! People are unsure about wearing nude tones, I'm a fan. I like monotones even when one of the tones I'm including in my style is my own skin! 

Outings with my fav are far and few. Good in the moment... So bad when the moment is over. It's sad the good moments have to be so far and few. But I think our time has been smoked to a crisp. It's time to let it go, I'm tired of the battle.

When it takes you an hour to figure out what to wear because you have no chill! You are always over dressed... You have the hardest time just throwing on jeans. And all this just to attend lunch with an old friend. It should not be this hard to look relaxed, well... How did I do?

Ten years ago we met at a Leadership Development Conference. Young, starting our careers in defense and determined to be the top contributors of the business. That was us... But as it turned out we were also the life of the parties, most of which we orchestrated. Marriage and kids later we are still at the top of our game. Senior Operations Consultant, Life's Style Engineer and a soon to be Partner at a top DC Law Firm, I would say these partiers turned out to be at a successful compactly! Where will the next 10 years take us?! Let's hope closer together and higher up the success ladder. To my forever leaders may happiness never leave you and success follow you where you go, love ya Aisha and Carlton!!

A not so great day ended with some great retail therapy!! Wearing my favorite shirt, shorts and shoes they brought me luck as I stumbled apon some awesome deals! 

If ever at Bloomingdales in Chevy Chase check out my girl _____ she was the absolute best! Customer service on 100! 

A weekend well spent! It's almost time to do it all over again!

Really White shirt, Off  White pants and Very Red shoes. When you want to look as though you borrowed your boyfriends pants and feminine at the same time! #tomboychic

These pants have the perfect sexy slouch and booty hugging fit! I wasn't a big fan of the cargo pockets, the booty hugging fit won me over tho! A girl will go to extremes for a cute booty in pants!

I knew I wanted something from the Off White collection. I just didn't know what I wanted until these pants popped up on my timeline in this IG clip. The whole look made my heart skip a beat. Vigil Abloh (owner/designer) caption read "@off___white c/o @fivestoryny entitled "Boyfriends Closet" men's collection re-fitted for women's SS15." I could appreciate the detail and signature style. I haven't worn anything logo'd in years, besides my LV handbags. This logo was different, it wasn't just about branding it was about creating a culture and vividly seeing it's influence on society. They enhanced the quality of being fashionably attractive for older cool kids. 30 is the new 20, right?

You see the palm tree's?! That lets you know I've had these pants since my AZ days. I never got to wear them... but I'm glad I have these pictures because clearly when I take pictures for the blog I never get back shots! LOL! Y'all might have thought they were different from the ones in the video... nope! They are the same.

P.S.A  - These pants will be worn on multiple occasions... I just had them on recently and I will be enjoying the fit and comfort of them again in the new future!

Girls night with these cuties. 

I love dancing, ever since I was a little girl. Any time I hear a beat... even if no one else can hear it, I will go off. I dance any and everywhere... I don't care. Dancing is an expression of happiness, joy, life, celebration... And yes even at fancy parties in my fancy clothes I will break out a mean two step with no problem. People who are to good to express themselves have issues. Seek therapy. You at a PARTY and to stuck-up to dance! Live a little!

Philanthropik - a fundraising event, this year dedicated to raising monies for Summer jobs. This party was so cute. A mixed crowd of young and not so young, professional, well dressed, good hearted people out to have a good time and support a great cause. I love nights like this. Sonje' always invites me to fun, wholesome events where I can wear my cute clothes.  It's not often I can make them but when I do, I always have a good time. 

I've been dying to wear a trench as a dress. I really wanted to wear it on a date night because I felt it was a sexy look. Move a certain way and your leg is exposed... that can do some serious damage to a guy... have him eating out of your hand. Try it! Let me know how it works for you!
